Başlarken
Welcome to Omeruta
Omeruta is a desktop workspace for notes, files, media, design, development, planning, and communication. Your files are organized into workspaces, with one workspace active at a time.
Workspaces
A workspace is a folder that Omeruta opens as a separate working area. One workspace is active at a time, and its local files and folders appear in the file panel.
Navigate Omeruta
Omeruta has two navigation areas on the left. The narrow vertical sidebar switches views and opens panels. The wider file panel beside it is where you browse files in the active workspace.
Find, search, and commands
Omeruta has separate tools for finding a file, finding text inside files, and running an application action.
Notlar
Create and edit notes
Notes are Markdown files in your active workspace. Omeruta opens them in a rich-text editor, where you can write and format the page without editing the Markdown source directly.
Rich content in notes
Markdown notes can contain more than paragraphs. Use the slash menu to add structured blocks, media, and other content without writing the Markdown syntax yourself.
Organize files and pages
Use folders to arrange files on your computer, Favorites to keep important entries close at hand, and page hierarchy to connect related Markdown notes.
Links, references, and backlinks
Connect a note to related pages and Work items so that you can move between them without searching for each file again.

Use the code editor
Omeruta opens common programming and configuration files in a code editor. The available preview, run, and language features depend on the file extension and tools installed on the computer.
Terminal and developer utilities
The bottom panel combines terminal sessions, development-server ports, command tasks, and preview output. Tabs that have no current data may be hidden.

Accounts and organizations
You can use local workspaces without signing in. An account is required for organization features such as Chat, calls, shared documents, shared spaces, and organization-backed Work.
Chat and messages
Chat provides organization conversations beside your workspace. Open **Chat** from the vertical sidebar and sign in when prompted.
Calls and screen sharing
Calls are available from a direct message. Open **Chat**, select a direct message, then choose **Audio call** or **Video call** in its header.
Shared documents and shared spaces
Sharing lets organization members work with a document or a collection of files. You must sign in before shared content can load.
Ayarlar ve uygulamalar
Settings and optional applications
Open **Settings** from the application controls, or press **Command-,** on macOS or **Ctrl-,** on Windows. Select a section in the Settings navigation to change that part of Omeruta.
Import and export
Omeruta workspaces are ordinary folders on your computer. Note and code files inside the active workspace remain normal files, so there is no separate application-wide import or export step for them.
Keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts use **Command** on macOS and **Ctrl** on Windows unless a row says otherwise. When a text field, dialog, or specialized editor has focus, it may handle the same keys differently.
Permissions, privacy, and troubleshooting
Omeruta combines local workspace tools with optional account and online features. The destination of data depends on the feature you choose.
