隱私權政策

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Omeruta handles personal data when you use the Omeruta desktop application, connected services, or this website. Local workspace files remain on your device unless you choose to sync, share, upload, or send them through a connected feature.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and identity data: your name, email address, Omeruta account identifier, and identifiers returned by a sign-in provider. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
  • Purchase and entitlement data: the Store product, transaction and original transaction identifiers, Store environment, purchase or refund status, and the opaque account token used to connect an Apple purchase to your Omeruta account. Omeruta does not receive your payment-card or Apple Account payment details.
  • Device and security data: a pseudonymous installation identifier, device public-key data, device category, application version, operating system information, and activation and last-seen timestamps. Your IP address is processed transiently for request rate limiting and is not stored in your account record.
  • Content and collaboration data: messages, voice messages, files, photos, videos, shared documents and designs, collaboration updates, invitations, connections, organization membership, and call-session metadata that you create or choose to send through connected Omeruta services. Omeruta does not record live call media unless a user deliberately creates and shares a recording.
  • Service interaction data: feature and device activity needed to operate the service, plus searches and interactions sent to an optional media or AI provider when you choose that feature. Omeruta does not use this information for advertising tracking.
  • Support data: information you choose to include when contacting Omeruta for help.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • create and authenticate your account;
  • provide sync, sharing, collaboration, chat, and calls;
  • verify trials, purchases, refunds, device activations, and restored access;
  • protect accounts, investigate abuse, recover devices, and maintain reliable service;
  • provide support and service communications; and
  • meet accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.

4. When information is shared

We share data only as needed to provide a feature, follow your instructions, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Apple or Google when you use that sign-in provider, and Apple when you start, buy, restore, or refund a Store product;
  • infrastructure, database, email-delivery, and security providers acting for Omeruta;
  • the AI, media, or integration provider you select, such as when you send a prompt or search GIPHY. GIPHY receives the search plus view, click, and successful-send signals for the GIFs you use. These requests do not include your Omeruta account credentials or the referring page and are processed under GIPHY's own privacy policy; and
  • the people and organizations with whom you intentionally collaborate or share content.

We do not sell personal data and do not use personal data to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

5. Security

Omeruta uses access controls, encrypted transport, encrypted server storage for supported sensitive content, and device-bound credentials. The desktop application also uses standard cryptography, including AES-256-GCM, for protected local and connected functionality. No security measure can eliminate every risk.

6. Retention

  • Your account, profile, entitlements, registered computers, sessions, and the content you create are kept while your account exists, or until you or the owner of a shared space deletes that content. Computers you deactivate stay listed with your account.
  • Account deletion is immediate and permanent once you confirm it and sign in again to verify that it is you. It deletes your profile, password and sign-in links, sessions, registered computers, messages you wrote, cloud files, memberships, and the workspaces you own. Messages that other people wrote in shared conversations remain theirs. If Apple does not confirm revocation immediately, an encrypted Apple authorization credential may remain in a revocation queue only so Omeruta can retry revocation.
  • Apart from that credential while revocation is pending and the backup copies described below, after deletion we keep only records linked to a random identifier, without your name, email address, or profile: Store purchase and trial records needed to restore purchases, handle refunds, and prevent a trial from restarting, and records of administrative actions taken on the service.
  • Copies in database backups are removed as those backups expire. Records that accounting, tax, or other law requires us to keep are kept for the period that law requires.

7. Your rights and controls

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access and correct personal data;
  • request deletion or restriction;
  • object to processing;
  • receive portable data where applicable; and
  • withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

You can delete your Omeruta account from within the desktop app without contacting support. You can also remove shared content, leave collaboration spaces where permitted, revoke a provider's access through that provider's account controls, or contact us about another privacy request. Legally retained commercial records are not restored as active account data.

8. Website cookies

The Omeruta website uses essential cookies for security and to complete sign-in and account pages, and stores your language and cookie-notice choice in your browser. Omeruta itself does not load analytics or advertising trackers. If you choose to open the Book Demo calendar, the site loads Calendly. Calendly may process data and set cookies under its own privacy policy. Browser controls can clear locally stored information.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact: info@omeruta.com

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Omeruta changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
