Omeruta workspaces are ordinary folders on your computer. Note and code files inside the active workspace remain normal files, so there is no separate application-wide import or export step for them.
Bring files into a workspace
Copy or move a supported file into the workspace with your operating system. Omeruta's file panel updates when the workspace detects the change. If the file does not appear, refresh or reopen the workspace after confirming that it was placed inside the workspace folder.
Before replacing a file with the same name, decide which version you intend to keep. Omeruta does not convert every external document format into a rich note.
Import and export media
Open Media Library, then use its import action to add supported images, audio, or video. Media generated or recorded in Omeruta also appears in the library. Select a media item and use its available download or export action to write a copy to a location you choose.
Available actions and output formats depend on the media type.
Import assets into a design
Open a .design document. Use the image/video asset tool or the available SVG import action to add an asset. Imported assets become elements in the design; the original external file is not edited when you change those elements.
To export a design selection or frame:
- Select the element or frame.
- Add an export setting in the properties panel.
- Choose PNG, JPEG, or SVG and the required scale.
- Preview when needed, then export.
More than one export setting can be attached to the same selection.
Move content out of Omeruta
For ordinary note and code files, use the operating system to copy the file or workspace folder to its destination. This preserves the file in its current format. Shared content may be read-only; your access role determines whether you can change it before making an allowed copy.
