Open Settings from the application controls, or press Command-, on macOS or Ctrl-, on Windows. Select a section in the Settings navigation to change that part of Omeruta.
Configure the application
- General manages workspace-related preferences.
- Account provides sign-in, profile, availability, organization, and account details.
- Appearance controls theme, interface language, editor font, and Desktop View appearance.
- Editor controls auto-save timing, word wrap, code intelligence, language servers, and snippets.
- Notifications controls operating-system notifications, do-not-disturb, message sounds, call ringtones, and their volumes.
- Security provides multi-factor authentication controls for a signed-in account.
- Updates checks for an application update and provides the download and relaunch actions when an update is available.
- Work configures Work behavior such as completion requirements.
- MCP manages paired connections and their credentials.
- AI configures providers, models, web access, image generation, dictation, and note-search options.
- Omeruta shows organization and personal policy controls available to the current account.
Settings can vary by platform, account, organization policy, and enabled features.
Turn optional applications on or off
Open Settings → Features. Available switches include Media Library, Design, Work, and Chat. A switch controls whether that application appears in Omeruta's navigation; it does not delete the application's existing content.
Some applications also require sign-in, organization access, an operating- system permission, or another setting before they can be used.
Protect credentials in MCP and AI settings
MCP settings can pair, rotate, revoke, stop, or forget a connection. AI settings can store hosted-provider credentials or configure Local AI and Ollama. Treat credentials as secrets: do not place them in notes, screenshots, Chat messages, or terminal context sent to the Assistant.
