Omeruta is a desktop workspace for notes, files, media, design, development, planning, and communication. Your files are organized into workspaces, with one workspace active at a time.

On a new installation, this page opens automatically after Omeruta prepares the first workspace. Later launches keep the user's existing workspace tabs.

Start here

  • Use the far-left vertical sidebar to switch the main view or open a panel.
  • Use Notes, Code, and Design above the adjacent file panel to browse different parts of the active workspace.
  • Select a file in the file panel to leave the current view and open that file in an editor tab.
  • Open Settings to manage workspaces, appearance, optional apps, and feature configuration.

Some features need an account, an AI provider, system permission, or an optional app enabled in Settings. The relevant guide page will identify a requirement before asking you to use that feature.

Find this guide again

The guide is a built-in part of the Notes sidebar and is available in every workspace:

  1. Select Notes above the file panel.
  2. Expand Tutorial & documentation.
  3. Select Welcome to Omeruta.

Guide pages are read-only. The screenshots and steps describe the current version of the app.
